The Bar Ops Web Page Launch

Last 24 February 2007, the Bar Operations Commission, with the support of the Law College Board, successfully launched the Bar Operations Web Page at the Naga Regent Hotel.

The Bar Operations web page has been in the works since November 2006 through the auspices and support of the 2006 Commission. The web page now boasts of links to the College of Law web site, the Pre-Bar Review web page, the Team Research web page and working links to known online sources of laws and jurisprudence. It also has in the works pages still waiting full operation like the Friends of Bar Ops page (which will carry the ads and names of the patrons, sponsors and donors of the Commission), and the links to the pages of each committees for their corresponding updates.

The Commission would like to extend its gratitude to the Law College Board headed by Gov. Percival Tordilla for supporting the launch of this web page during the Law Night Celebration. We would also like to thank the 2006 Commission headed by Chairman Noriel Bernales. The Vice Chairman of the 2006 Commission, Ms. Gerlie Admana, who envisioned this web site, and the Research Heads, Sheila Panganiban and Bernice Catherine Santayana, whose support to the 2007 Commission made this web page come to fruition, are also acknowledged and thanked.

For questions and suggestions, please email the Commission at baroperations@gmail.com.

Thank you.

The Bar Operations Commission Advocacy

As law students, we are tasked not only to study the law and jurisprudence but to be always vigilant with the situations in our country and in the world. Nothing more could be tragic than to know the law, and all the cases intepreting it, and be apathetic and negligent in making our country and the very Earth we live in a better place.

That is why, the 2007 Bar Operations Commission is launching its advocacy, aside from the activities it would be sponsoring at its helm. The advocacy of the Bar Operations Commission is directly handled by its Chairman.

The first and very foremost advocacy it endeavours to communicate across the entire law student body, and the legal community as a whole, is the importance, nay, the necessity for the signing of the Kyoto Protocol by the Philippines.

To learn more about the Kyoto Protocol, kindly visit the webpage of the Chairman by clicking on the link on the sidebar.

Thank you.

Welcome to the UNC Bar Operations Commission 2007 webpage!

The Bar Operations Commission 2007 of the University of Nueva Caceres College of Law would be starting its term in the following weeks. It has various projects and activities lined up not only for the college's barristers this coming September 2007 but also for the students of the college.
